Apartments Vysehrad B&B is situated in a quiet street below the remains of the spectacular old Vysehrad fortress, only 5 minutes by tram from the heart of the city centre, with very easy access to all major attractions of central Prague (Prague Castle, Lesser Town, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Jewish Town, Wenceslas Square etc.). Our accommodation in apartments is suitable for individual tourists, families or business people. Pets are allowed in the rooms. Apartment Vysehrad offers beautiful service rooms in an early 20th century building (The building is protected as a part of national cultural heritage. There is no lift available, but we will help you with your luggage as a matter of course). All rooms are in suite. Apartments are fully furnished and have a writing table. Further features are minibars, hair dryers, TVs, alarm clocks, direct dial telephones and coffee/tea making facilities in each room. If you have a laptop computer, you can connect to the Internet. Buffet breakfast is served in the restaurant from 8 a.m.

The Charles Bridge (Czech: Karlův most listen (help·info)) is a famous historic bridge that crosses the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic. Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge built 1158–1172 that had been badly damaged by a flood in 1342. This new bridge was originally called the Stone Bridge (Kamenný most) or the Prague Bridge (Pražský most) but has been the "Charles Bridge" since 1870. As the only means of crossing the river Vltava (Moldau) until 1841, the Charles Bridge was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town and adjacent areas.
