A description of Harrachov and environs: You can come to Harrachov all year round, not only to draw new strength from the healthy mountain air, but also for sporting activities and unforgettable experiences provided by the unique scenery, which the surrounding nature offers. Harrachov is also the largest and best-known winter sports centre in the Giant Mountains especially for ski jumping. The town lies at the western tip of the highest Czech mountains - the Giant Mountains - at 720 metres above sea level and it is surrounded on all sides by mountains and thick coniferous forests. The town's dominant feature is Devil's Mountain (Čertova hora) at 1022 m above sea level. The Devil's Mountain ski lift is in operation all year round with the option of taking mountain bikes and skis.
