The “U Šimla” Hotel is located in Carlsbad, right in the racecourse area, which was built in 1899 and is an integral part of the history of our city.

The hotel was build upon the wish of Mr. Karel Holoubek in 2004, by renovation of at the time deteriorating horse-riders’ hostel building. A year after the opening of the “U Šimla” Hotel, a unique golf-course, accessible to the general public, was built in the middle of the racecourse.

The medical spa resort MANES is located on the outskirts of the health-resort zone, not far from the city centre and the spa colonnade. The healing springs are 10 minutes´ walk from the hotel. The city centre and the spa colonnade are also available through public traffic buses, whose bus stop is in close proximity of the hotel.
