The boarding house is situated in the premises of former St. Marketa’s Chapel. This chapel is a part of Zdar Castle, Former Cistercian Monastery Zdar nad Sazavou. After fire in 1802, the building was desecreted and rebuilt to dwelling. During the present reconstruction the building will be restored to its historical style as much as possible The pilgrimage church by architect J.B. Santini-Aichel, St. Jan Nepomucky Church, that is a UNESCO monument, is a part of the historical premises.
