Liblice Castle is one the most perfect Czech baroque style sights of Italian architect Giovanni Battista Alliprandi, who in the year of 1699 worked out a personal project by order of former squire Arnošt Pachta from Rájov who was ennobled as prince later. The last noble family that owned the castle was the Wallensteins. In the year 1945 the castle became state-owned property. Subsequently, the state committed the castle to the Czech Republic's Academy of Sciences. Under the European Union's sponsorship, the castle's extensive reconstruction, by which the mansion was converted into a contemporary meeting- and culture center as well as a lushly country house hotel providing several restaurants and a wellness center, was completed in 2007. The castle provides all modern conveniences and hospitality for business clients, although it also most suitable for families with children. The rooms' comfortable furnishing, a wide choice of restaurants and high-end equipment of conference rooms for various events and arrangements grant our guests a pleasant and productive sojourn.
